buzz on Yoon Eun Hye's...

"Yoon Eun Hye’s Lady Castle set for August"

Yoon Eun Hye's Lady Castle set for August

It has been a long wait but it's certainly something worth waiting for. Actress Yoon Eun Hye will finally be returning to the small screen with a new CF drama this August after a near 2 years absence with MBC's Coffee Prince.

Yoon Eun Hye will be returning with the drama called Lady Castle which is tentatively set for a 19th August premiere on KBS2TV. Lady Castle will be taking over the spot vacated by the lawyer drama, Partners in the Wed-Thus timeslot if everything goes according to schedule (barring drama extensions, etc). Competing dramas will be SBS's Swallow the Sun starring Ji Sung, Sung Yuri, Lee Wan and MBC's horror drama, Soul, starring Lee Seo Jin.

Lady Castle is a story about 3 daughters and the inheritance left by their father. Their lifestyle is disrupted after a poor man disguises himself as a housekeeper/manager of a rich house with an eye on the family’s hidden slush fund. He falls in love with the haughty second daughter (of three), Noh Yura, played by Yoon Eun Hye. Noh Yura is a lady who possesses a goddess-like beauty. She is strong-headed, selfish and the world revolves around her, where all things must go her way. Yet, Yura is lonely and longs to be loved, and for this, Yura is weak in front of true love and is one who you cannot help but love.

Yoon Eun Hye's Lady Castle set for August

Many have been waiting [insert word] for Yoon Eun Hye's return since MBC's Coffee Prince in 2007 and the delay was partly due to the problems that Lee Kim Productions had been facing with the Park Shin Yang saga. Only Eun Hye has been confirmed for the drama thus far but things are going to be accelerated, with the broadcaster now secured. Most are wondering who will be the guys romancing Eun Hye.

VIEWS:

I couldn't wait for her new drama again.... Hurrrrraaaaayyyyy.... At long lasts, she already finalized to accept to this new drama role again. I bet she'll be more and more getting apt and good in portraying her role. And more to that, she will probably captivates much of the people's attention and of course won awards again.... lolz!!! Khamsamnida...... ewwwwww... Kyuttttaaaaahhhh...

awaiting part for this weekend

"The Countdown to MNET’s M! Countdown"

"Most Anticipated Performance"

Yep, it's finally here! If you've been following 2NE1 or 4minute, then you'll know that they'll BOTH be making their first appearance on the show. 2NE1 will appear for the first time on M! Countdown and 4minute just appears for the first time EVER. This of course is causing comparisons between the two newbie groups. After all, both had a huge following before they even debuted (case in point, 4minute actually still hasn't debuted), both have colorful wardrobes (or stylists who hate them), and both have been said to have similar music styles. All this boils down to one thing...a nice, friendly competition SHOWDOWN known as M! Countdown. Dance-off, Face-off, Show-off, whatever you wanna call it. And of course it helps that they're both performing on the same day. So what do you think will happen? Will 2NE1's Fire die out? Will 4minute's debut be just a 4 minute memory? And let the countdown begin..

2NE1 vs 4minute

Lady Gaga
will also be present on the show as well scheduled for the 18th June episode of M! Countdown .

We're gonna see who will be the most anticipating girl group showdown that would make the fans droll and cheered on... let's see it then... i couldn't wait it anymore... plus with Lady Gaga's will be there too... What a pin-up it is then... lolz

Birthday bash for Ms. Anne Villareal

"Happy Birthday, Anne Villareal!!!"

Celebrating Ate Anne's Birthday @ Casino Español

Though Madam Anne invited me to the last minute but still i had been make it to get it there with my other friends. It was a good and superb, fine dining then. We can take our orders or eat as anything as we like but i ordered battered chicken and gambas(shrimp)... nevermind my allergies... lolz.... it was soooo wholly delicious...

We went then to Mango One specifically in Y.O.U., ordered few drinks or one set of beers, spicy peanuts and chocolate puddings as our sumsuman after dinner... :)))

By the time, we were gettin tipsy a bit, we went right away in Julianna's Club. We found an empty table and seats and our neighboring table korean customers gave away their few drinks for free sort of they were already so drunk... So we have no choice but to accept it wholeheartedly as a sort of being hospitable to them and not to insult them... We made a "Tagay" here.

Danced a bit and maki'n chit chats. When the drinks finally empty, we bid goodbyes, called it a nice & wonderful b-day and went straight home right away.
...

It was a splendid nyt!

isn't this a popular song n sounds good?

Am always awed by them whenever their on the stage cuz it's a hella surprising to uphold. Their outfits, hair styles, accessories, make-ups and performances on the stage were always somewhat cool. Am looking forward for their next performance on stage again, hopefully on Sunday again....

And i only have to be with them cuz if won't be able to see and be there. So, I went there and it was so very exciting. And her vows that theirs will not simply be a marriage in name only; he plans to enjoy many passionate nights with his beautiful, scheming wife.

"KIMCHI" makes me salivate

Kimchi (pronounced /ˈkɪmtʃiː/, Korean pronunciation: [kimtɕʰi]), also spelled gimchi, kimchee, or kim chee, roughly translated, means "to preserve." It is a traditional Korean pickled dish made of vegetables with varied seasonings. Its most common manifestation is the spicy baechu (cabbage) variety. Kimchi is the most common banchan, or side dish. Kimchi is also a common ingredient and combined with other ingredients to make dishes such as kimchi stew (kimchi jjigae) and kimchi fried rice (kimchi bokkeumbap). Kimchi is so ubiquitous that the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) developed space kimchi to accompany the first Korean astronaut to the Russian-manned space ship Soyuz.

History

Ancient Kimchi

Kimchi can be traced back to ancient times.References to kimchi can be found as early as 2600–3000 years ago. The first text-written evidence of its existence can be found in the first Chinese poetry book, Sigyeong (Hangul: 시경 hanja: ). In this book, kimchi was referred to as ji. The term ji was used until the pre-modern term chimchae (hanja: 沈菜, lit. soaked vegetables), dimchae, and timchae were adopted in the period of the Three Kingdoms of Korea. The word then was modified into jimchi, and is currently called kimchi.

Early kimchi was made of cabbage and beef stock only, and in the twelfth century people began to include other spices to create different flavors, such as sweet and sour flavors, and colors such as white and orange.

Composition

Chili peppers drying for Kimchi

Kimchi varieties are determined by the main vegetable ingredients and the mix of seasonings used to flavor the kimchi. The most popular type of kimchi is the baechu (also known as Chinese cabbage) variety but there are many regional and seasonal varieties. Popular variants include ggakdugi which is a kimchi made with cubed radish, pa-kimchi (made with scallions), chonggak-kimchi and oisobagi (hangul: 오이소박이), a cucumber kimchi with hot and spicy seasoning. Kkaennip (hangul: 깻잎) kimchi features layers of perilla and other spices.

The Kimchi Field Museum in Seoul has documented 187 historic and current varieties of kimchi. Although the most common seasonings include brine, scallions and seasonings, ingredients can be replaced or added depending on the type of kimchi being made. Common seasonings also include, ginger, onions, aekjeot (hangul: 액젓, fish sauce) and fresh seafood.

COMMENTS:

I love eating this stuffs sort of makes me craved for pickled papaya and salted fish in the Philippines... haizzzz Just try this one... hehehehe makes me salivates all the time and whenever i've heard of this. Been missing eating this with my classmates b4...

''Angels and Demons''

Angels & Demons (2009)

When Langdon discovers evidence of the resurgence of an ancient secret brotherhood known as the Illuminati - the most powerful underground organization in history - he also faces a deadly threat to the existence of the secret organization's most despised enemy: the Catholic Church. When Langdon learns that the clock is ticking on an unstoppable Illuminati time bomb, he jets to Rome, where he joins forces with Vittoria Vetra, a beautiful and enigmatic Italian scientist. Embarking on a nonstop, action-packed hunt through sealed crypts, dangerous catacombs, deserted cathedrals, and even to the heart of the most secretive vault on earth, Langdon and Vetra will follow a 400-year-old trail of ancient symbols that mark the Vatican's only hope for survival.

Angels and Demons was the reclusive authors third novel after he gave up his job as an English teacher. It tells the story of Langdons brush with a shadowy secret society, the Illuminati, and his frantic quest for the worlds most powerful energy source, in the company of a beautiful Italian physicist whose father, a brilliant physicist, has been murdered.

The team behind the global phenomenon "The Da Vinci Code" returns for the highly anticipated "Angels & Demons," based upon the bestselling novel by Dan Brown. Tom Hanks reprises his role as Harvard religious expert Robert Langdon, who once again finds that forces with ancient roots are willing to stop at nothing, even murder, to advance their goals. Ron Howard again directs the film, which is produced by Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, and John Calley. The screenplay is by David Koepp and Akiva Goldsman.

Comments:

Would really like to see this another book of Dan Brown hopefully if am not soooo busy... I've heared this movie is quite extremely great and mindbreaking... the special effects is good perhaps as well as the scenes. It's another story that will make our beliefs being at stake and most of the peeps might get doubtful of their faith in God. But it really depends how u truly Love God and believe Him so. This movie, it will make your world mind shattering and how or measures your faith in HIM.

Boracay Baby

Boracay is a tropical island located approximately 315km (200 miles) south of Manila and 2km off the northwest tip of the island of Panay in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines. It is one of the country's most popular tourist destinations. The island comprises the barangays of Manoc-Manoc, Balabag, and Yapak (3 of the 17 barangays which make up the municipality of Malay), and is under the administrative control of the Philippine Tourism Authority in coordination with the Provincial Government of Aklan.

History

The island was originally home to the Ati tribe. Boracay is part of Aklan Province, which became an independent province on April 25, 1956. Formerly undiscovered, it wasn't till the 1970s that tourism began to develop in Boracay, and the island became popular with backpackers in the 1980s.

Years ago, Boracay Island was a well-guarded secret, almost possessively so that only a few knew of its existence.

It was only in the 70s when, it is said, a foreign movie crew accidentally "discovered" this island paradise. Others maintain that it was the German traveler, 'Jens Peters' book, which included rave reviews of Boracay that changed the island’s pace from that of being a quiet secret to eventually being voted as having the best beach in the world.

Whichever story is true, it was around this time that Boracay Island slowly ceased to be a private travelers hangout and eventually became a favorite tourist destination in the Philippines. In a span of a mere 10 years, the whole world, it seemed, discovered Boracay and the once, nearly deserted stretch of beach became a teeming vacation and leisure spot for upscale tourists from all parts of the world.

Geography

Map of the Philippines with Boracay Island indicated in the map.
Location of Boracay above Panay Island.

Boracay Island is located off the northwest corner of the island of Panay, and belongs to the Western Visayas island-group, or Region VI, of the Philippines. The island is approximately seven kilometers long, dog-bone shaped with the narrowest spot being less than one kilometer wide, and has a total land area of 10.32 square kilometers.

South-facing Cagban Beach is located across a small strait from the jetty port at Caticlan on Panay island, and the Cagban jetty port serves as Boracay's main entry and exit point during most of the year. When wind and sea conditions dictate, east-facing Tambisaan Beach serves as an alternative entry and exit point.

Boracay's two primary tourism beaches, White Beach and Bulabog Beach, are located on opposite sides of the island's narrow central area. White Beach faces westwards and Bulabog Beach faces eastwards. The island also has several other beaches.

White Beach is the main tourism beach. It is a bit over four kilometers long and is lined with resorts, hotels, lodging houses, restaurants, and other tourism-related businesses. In the central portion, for about two kilometers, there is a footpath known as the Beachfront Path separating the beach itself from the establishments located along it. North and south of the Beachfront Path, beachfront establishments do literally front along the beach itself. Several roads and paths connect the Beachfront Path with Boracay's Main Road, a vehicular road which runs the length of the island. At the extreme northern end of White Beach, a footpath runs around the headland there and connects White Beach with Diniwid Beach.

Bulabog Beach, across the island from White Beach, is a secondary tourism beach and Boracay's main windsurfing and kiteboarding area.

Boracay is divided, for land use and conservation purposes, into 400 hectares of preserved forestland and 628.96 hectares of agricultural Land.

Climate

Amihan and Habagat

Sunset on Boracay's White Beach.

Weather in Boracay is generally divided into two seasonal weather patterns known locally as the Amihan and Habagat seasons. In the Tagalog language, Amihan means a cool northeast wind, and Habagat means west or southwest wind; south-west monsoon. Amihan and Habagat seasons are generally associated respectively with the El Niño and La Niña global weather patterns. The Amihan season is characterized by moderate temperatures, little or no rainfall, and a prevailing wind from the east. The Habagat season is characterized by hot and humid weather, frequent heavy rainfall, and a prevailing wind from the west.

On Boracay, the main indicator of the switch between the Amihan and Habagat seasonal patterns is the switch in wind direction. In most years this transition is abrupt and occurs overnight. In some years there is a period of perhaps a week or two where the wind will switch between Amihan and Habagat patterns several times before settling into the pattern for the new season. As a general rule of thumb, Boracay will be in the Amihan weather pattern from sometime in September or October to sometime in May or June and in the Habagat weather pattern for the remainder of the year. These dates can vary in individual years, though.

Daytime temperatures on Boracay generally range from 77-90°F (25-32°C) from the beginning of the Amihan season into February or March, increase to the 82-100°F(28-38°C) range until the onset of the Habagat season, and moderate back to the 77-90°F (25-32°C) range with the return of the Amihan season. During Tropical Storm periods, temperatures can fall below 68°F (20°C). Tropical Storms can impact Boracay at any time of year, but are most likely to be seen during the Habagat season.

Tourism

Puka Beach, Boracay where the rare Puka shells are found.

Partly because of its wind and weather patterns, tourism in Boracay is at its peak during the Amihan season. During Amihan, the prevailing wind blows from the east. Boracay's main tourism area, White Beach, is on the western side of the island and is sheltered from the wind. During the Amihan season, the water off White Beach is often glassy-smooth. On the eastern side of the island, hills on the northern and southern ends of the island channel the Amihan season wind from the east onshore, onto Bulabog Beach in the central part of the island's eastern side. This makes the reef-protected waters off that beach ideal for windsurfing and kiteboarding / kitesurfing.

Accommodation

Boracay's White Beach.

A number of accommodation types are scattered all over the island, ranging from luxurious hotel types to budget, spartan rooms. Guests can also choose according to location--Station 3 is where most of the cheaper lodgings are located, while Station 2 is meant for those who want to be within close proximity of the bars. Station 1, meanwhile, is where you can find the more isolated accommodations, offering peace and quiet to those looking for a respite from the usual action-packed Boracay night scene. These are usually for the more upscale vacationers.

Boracay is the site of a world-class 18-hole par 72 golf course designed by Graham Marsh. In addition, Boracay now has in excess of 350 beach resorts with more than 2,000 rooms ranging in quality from five-star to budget accommodations, so tourists are sure to find whatever they are looking for.

Boracay also offers a wide range of restaurants, bars, pubs, and nightclubs that bop until morning.

Most Boracay hotels and resorts have Low and High Season price levels, with High Season prices generally coinciding with Amihan Season dates. Some have additional "Super" Peak Period pricing during periods of heavy tourism (usually including Christmas / New Year, Easter / Holy Week, and Chinese New Year periods).

Languages

Other than Filipino (Tagalog), English is widely spoken in Boracay. Aklanon or Akeanon, is also spoken, as Boracay is part of Aklan Province. The Ati language was spoken by the original inhabitants of the island.[not in citation given]

Transportation

On the island, the two main modes of transport are via motor-tricycles along the main road or by walking along the beaches. Pedicabs are also available for transport along the Beachfront Path. Other means of transportation include mountain bikes, quadbikes and motorbikes, all of which can be rented.

To explore around the island's coast, motorized bancas and sailing paraws are available for rent. These are outrigger canoes and are common sight in waters around the island. The sailing paraw is a narrow hulled boat with outriggers either side and with passengers sometimes seated on a trampoline platform between the outrigger supports. These are extremely fast off the wind, but can be unwieldy for inexperienced sailors.

I would like to go there as soon as i do have a chance to go there... Hopefully, God will let me... Gosh!!! I do really and badly needed to be there just to see, of what i have heard and feedback, which it was all terrific and good to most of the people and friends said so. I will just keep my fingers crossed on this.. Oh.... wishful thinking, huh?!!! lolz

Boracay is the World?s Most Popular Beach according to Yahoo! Travel
Yahoo! Travel just announced The Worlds Most Popular Beaches of 2007, Topping the list is our very own Boracay Island in Aklan and on the number three (3) spot is Cebu also in the island of Visayas. Heres the complete list of Yahoo! Travel Most Popular Beaches of 2007:

The world-famous island of Boracay is located in Aklan province 345 kms. South of Manila. The island is accessible by air from Manila or Cebu through two principal gateways: Caticlan airport or Kalibo airport.

Boracay has also been voted as one of the best beaches in the world by the BMW Tropical Beach Handbook. The British Publication TV Quick in its issue of December 21, 1996 gave the latest accolade for Boracay as the number one tropical beach in the world.

Another evidence that Boracay has indeed crossed the threshold into becoming a regional, if not a global, tourist destination is in its drawing power to reel in local and foreign investments worth billions of pesos, in addition to its natural attraction to tourists both in the country and overseas. Those who stand to benefit from these are, needless to say, the Tirol clan who owned and continues to own much of the original properties on the island and the local populace in and around the island who can look forward to increased employment and livelihood opportunities.

ang "Pinakbet" Bow!

The Ilocos Region is known for milk fish cultivating and processing, shrimp paste processing, rice, sugarcane, raising livestock and of course they are said to be good cooks. With the abundance of natural resources helped them to be more creative in many different ways. They are also said to be lavished when it comes to food. Their love for eating helped them create a good cuisine.

The Pinakbet is a healthy dish that is known all over the Philippines. Pinakebbet is an Ilocano word which means shrivel or dry up. The dish is made with different types of vegetables, meat, shrimps and the Bagoong or sometimes shrimp paste. Fatty pork is one of the ingredients that contributes flavor to this dish. To add a twist others put lechon or chicharon. Obviously pinakbet is a vegetable stew in shrimp paste. But unlike other stews, this viand from the Ilocos Region is a bit dry. The sweet taste of squash, the saltiness of the shrimp paste and the crisp vegetables makes this an irrestible scrumptuous dish.

One thing i miss way back home... is eating pinakbet and especially if it's a spicy one.... I do really missing it though. Everytime i go home, my mother really knows what to cook. She already knows what are the foods i like and missed much... It's just that i like eating this but i do nevermind the allergies aftermath eating it. And add to it i love veggies since highschool days, sort of it's kinda complete in all recados or vegetables. Most of the peeps here in PI doesn't really like it cuz of lot's of vegetables on it... lolz

Ahmmmm... So, CoM'on for the Vegans! Try this one and u'll really love it!

Synopsis

Jan Di is an average girl whose family owns a dry cleaning store located near the luxurious and well known Shin Hwa College. Jan Di meets the four richest and most spoiled boys known as the F4. After saving a boy from jumping off the roof of Shinhwa High School, she is admitted into the school on a swimming scholarship. However, when Jan Di's friend, Oh Min Ji, accidentally gets ice cream on the leader of the F4's shoes, she's forced to declare war on the leader of the F4, Goo Joon Pyo.

Views:

This Korean version is a good and awesome to watch for they have a wonderful sceneries to look and has a different version, of course, rather than in Japan's "Hanayori Dango" and Taiwan's "Meteor Garden", though the latter F4's portrayal are quite splendid. Had finished watching it thru buying dvd's on the street market as well as tailing it on youtube. I had fun watching it as well as some of the mushy scenes out there.

So, try to watch it and then tell me what can u say about it!:D

went to trippin korean resto

Me and my classmates had finally gotta to try to eat some korean foods somewhere in Cebu's finest after classes ended. So, we went to Lahug to look and search for a korean restaurant. And presto, we had found one and get inside right away. We sit on their mini table with a fine and comfy cushion to sit on our chicken butts. We ordered and asked some help for the attendant or resto assitant of what are the best and good food to eat or their specialty. And we ordered sambalgagi, bulgogi and spicy ramen.

When our orders arrived, we were so appalled to see lot's of leaves... hehehehe
But i was soo happy to see cuz i love to eat veggies... for it's been ages, i think that i have'nt eaten vegetables. Gosh!!! :D

We cooked the meat on a pan provided and which it is already a built in the mini table... some kinda like they said a "shabu-shabu".

After eating we were soooo full and superb too. Paid the bill "chip-in-chip-in"... It was an awesome experienced for us, even though it's kinda lot's of spicy on it but we enjoyed it. It was quite a day for us thou....
